Jerry Attia
Chief Operations Officer

Jerry resides in Grand Blanc, Michigan with his wife and kids.  Jerry founded the AttiaGroup in 1999 after working in the residential development field through college and beyond including many years as his father’s principle designer and project manager.

In his younger years Jerry was frustrated by the fact that most builders have very little, if any, design background. He also recognized that most builders come from the trades and do not have a strong professional background. Himself, having both a strong design background as well as a strong professional background, he saw an opportunity to blend high quality design with simple and efficient fabrication techniques, which he continues to do today.

His goal has always been to produce high quality living environments, which can be appreciated and afforded by a variety of social groups. In order to do this, Jerry believes it is crucial not to dwell on the philosophical differences of Developer, Architect, Engineer, and Contractor.  Rather he has become a creative blend which incorporates all aspects of the those professions for an over all high quality residence for our clients.

Joseph resides in Swartz Creek, Michigan.  Joseph Attia grew up helping his father in the construction business. Joe started by working on concrete and framing crews while in high school and college.  Joe also assisted in managing the construction process building the family residence in Clarkston. Further, he managed the framing crews of buildings in Softwater Lake Condominiums in Clarkston as well as many single family homes.

Having tried his hand at construction, Joe attended Kalamazoo College and graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics.  After working with the International Monetary Fund and World Bank, Joe decided to further his education earning a Ph.D.  In 2001, he earned his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in economics. Joe’s specialty in applied microeconomics and finance suits him well for the construction industry and analysis of the real estate market.

Upon completion of his doctoral studies, Joe decided it was time to return to the family business and join his father and brother in the real estate development business. Joe continually searches for ways to improve the Attia Development Group’s reach and understanding in various markets.

Joe and his brother Jerry formed the Attia Development Group in 2003, consolidating their projects and skills.  Their combination of skills, experiences, and desires place them in a great position to build top rate housing in growing communities.

Bahia Jarrah
Accountant

Bahia lives in Grand Blanc with her  wonderful husband Sam and their lively triplets Ryan, Lucine & Sabrina.  Yes, triplets!  Bahia has been a been a member of the Attia family since 2002.  The excitement and level of detail that she provides the Attia Development Group makes her a valuable asset to the company.

She immigrated from Lebanon in January 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Administration from Lebanese University in Beirut.  Bahia then worked in Los Angeles, California for nine years as an accountant.  In 1990, Bahia's family  moved to Michigan due to her husband's work.  She decided to take some time off to raise her children.  Once the triplets began kindergarten in 2002, she joined the work force again and began working for the Attia Development Group in charge of Accounting and Purchasing.

Bahia joined the team in 2001.  Her responsibilities include managing all the accounting work, and meeting with new contractors to finalize negotiations for our projects, and controlling all purchasing. She enjoys working in construction -- with the fast pace and unpredictable nature of its business, she never experiences a dull moment!
